526 Wilson Street, Fairfield CT — split-level home with staged curb appeal

A Sale Built on Clear Strategy

Only nine single-family homes sold between $600,000 and $700,000 in Stratfield all year — out of 69 total sales. That scarcity is what made 526 Wilson Street stand out. Staging, curb appeal and 95,000+ search impressions turned it into multiple offers over asking in the first week.

Set in Stratfield, one of Fairfield’s most loved and long-established neighborhoods, this property already had natural appeal. Our role was to sharpen that narrative and bring it forward with intention, so buyers could immediately see what made this opportunity stand out.

A Standout Price Point Buyers Rarely See

Timing played a major role in this success. In all of 2025, only nine single-family homes sold between $600,000 and $700,000 in Stratfield, out of 69 total sales. That level of scarcity turned this home into something buyers don’t often find, a chance to enter a highly desirable neighborhood at a truly compelling price point.

The market responded accordingly.

Enhancements That Elevated the Experience

Curb appeal set the tone from the very first impression. We focused on upgrades that would help buyers immediately envision how they could live in the home, both indoors and out.

Fresh landscaping refreshed the exterior, while the addition of a firepit created a natural gathering space that showcased the home’s indoor-outdoor potential. Inside, freshly painted interiors, intentional staging with furniture and décor, and an updated bathroom elevated the overall feel of the space. In key areas, we embraced a minimalist approach, allowing the home to feel clean, open, and easy to imagine as one’s own.

Every enhancement was chosen with purpose, not to overdo it, but to highlight what today’s buyers value most: comfort, style, and effortless livability.

Exposure That Turned Interest Into Action

With the right foundation in place, the launch delivered exactly what it was designed to do.

• More than 95,000 search impressions
• Multiple offers in the first week, all over asking
• Strong, clean terms that created confidence for both sides
• A smooth, well-matched close for wonderful clients, with the privilege of representing both buyer and seller

This wasn’t just exposure. It was momentum built through intention.

Why This Sale Matters to Me

What makes this sale especially meaningful goes beyond the results. I had the privilege of helping these sellers purchase this home four years ago, and being trusted again when it came time to sell is something I never take for granted.

Repeat business like this is the greatest compliment in my work. It speaks to the relationships behind the transactions, and to the confidence clients place in me to guide them through each chapter with care and clarity.

Looking Ahead to 2026

I wrote about this one when it first went under contract, if you want the earlier chapter.

Curious what this means for your own home? Start with what your home is actually worth and how I prepare a home for market.

If a move is on your horizon for 2026, having a plan built around your neighborhood and your goals can make all the difference. I would love to help you approach the process with the same strategic mindset and personal attention.

Because the right approach doesn’t just sell a home. It builds trust, momentum, and results that last.
